Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY.
We are all about Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit.
Our design team takes inspiration from the jam packed Stampin' Up! catalogues, and then challenges you to join in the fun each week by putting your project onto our facebook challenge page.
This week, the challenge is to take inspiration from the Holidays chapter - pages 92 - 103.
I've taken my inspiration from the landing page for Granny Apple Green - page 93.
My card actually features Lemon Lime Twist and Real Red - so it's a brighter version than the catalogue sample, but almost identical.
Instead of using the DSP in the background, I've stamped onto the Lemon Lime Twist using the Granny Apple Green and the large swish from Stylish Christmas - a lovely super sweet stamp set that features one of the awesome new dinstinktive stamps.
See all those lovely tones on the poinsettia? That's the amazingness of the distinktive stamp image! Just fabulous.
We hope you join in the fun too by adding your project to our line at our facebook challenge page!!
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x

ReplyDeleteThank you Rebecca!! I'm a little in love with Lemon Lime Twist - wasn't at first, but now, it's a total winner!!
DeleteWow, the lemon lime twist goes so well with real red and I am really loving the new disINKtive stamp sets, the background tone on tone works well.
ReplyDeleteThankyou Kathryn! Me too
DeleteLove the color combo!
ReplyDeleteWow Julia, I love these two colours together, great CASE.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Julia, the subtle layers and background stamping bring it all together perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLove your bright take on this card, Julia. I really like that you haven't covered the lovely poinsettia with the greeting as they did in the sample.
