Designer's Choice for SUO Challenges

Hello and Welcome to a super fun challenge for Stampin' Up! Only Challenges.

This time, we're having a designers choice challenge - choose our own projects - how fun and easy is that!!!

I've chosen to show you a recent gift and card I created for a wedding.  The colours and ideas were inspired by the wedding invitation which featured some watercolour greenery and lots of gorgeous white space.

The wedding gift is a hand made box of thank you cards for the young couple to use.  We all need a bunch of thank you cards after a big event like a wedding don't we!?

This gorgeous greeting comes from a lovely stamp set you can order next month - called Blended Seasons.  The beautiful leaf frond also comes from the same set while the fern leaves comes from the Christmas Pines stamp set.  I've used Garden Green and Tranquil Tide inks.

The wedding card allowed me to try a wonderful new technique with our new Embossing mats.  I've used the Large Label framelits to create an embossed image of the young couple's initials.

Again, inspired by the nature theme of the Wedding Invitation, I've used the glorious stamp set Dandelion Wishes for the stamped images.  These have been highlighted with the super sparkly Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

I love this greeting too.  It also comes from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set!!

Make sure you head over to our SU! Only Challenges blog and see the amazing lineup from the design team.  You'll love them all!  Please join in the fun of our challenge too and add your own Designers Choice project !!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia  x
