Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night blog hop CASEING the CATTY.



Our blog hop is all about inspiring you to see the Stampin' Up! catalogue in new ways as we Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit.  We also challenge you to join in the fun too and add your project to our lineup at our facebook challenge page.



This week, we are sharing the challenge from the Birthday chapter - pages 66 - 79.

My inspiration this week comes from the cool technique and card featured on page 77.

There's been quite a bit of shimmery embossing paste in my life these last couple of weeks, so I was super keen to give this awesome tip a try!!

My card CASE is exactly the same as the original - just a different stamp set - the ever useful Happy Birthday Gorgeous, and also different colours to coordinate with my total favourite DSP this catalogue - Petal Promenade!!   The colours I've used are:  Poppy Parade, Grapefruit Gove and Shaded Spruce for the leaves and greeting.  

After I'd cased the same layout for the card, I then tried it by rotating the DSP strips to the sides rather than the top and bottom.  Same card, but totally different looks I think!
