Hello and Welcome to another wonderful Sunday Night Blog Hopping as we CASE the CATTY...
and I hope you've had an awesome day for Mother's Day too, however you spent the day today!!
This week, the hop is all about sharing our Favourite Annual Catalogue Project as we Copy And Share Everything, or Copy And Selectively Edit (CASE) the projects from our awesome Stampin' Up! catalogue.
My project is inspired by the fun "Step it Up" project on page 135 of our catalogue. I love the idea of a step-it-up process but I don't get to play with the idea very frequently, so this week was the time!!
My projects feature the retiring Garden in Bloom stamp set and some Delightful Daisy DSP. This set doesn't have a coordinating punch like the original, so there was a bit of fussy cutting involved!!
The colours I've used are Old Olive, So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride.
As per the original design, my first card features stamping onto coloured cardstock, the second involves stamping the filled petal images only, and the third card includes the outline images.
This stamp set does not have a medium sized flower, so I have improvised - I used the twin stamp of small leaves, and stamped in a circle to create the flower petals. I've embellished the last two cards with some glitter enamel dots.
These cards measure 9cm x 9cm so they are super cute and very easy to pop into a pocket or lunch box as an extra sweet treat for your loved ones!!
Up next is the lovely Peta and her stunning floral designs.
After you've cruised through the whole team and checked all the fantastic inspiration for you this week, make sure you add your creative genius inspired by our Annual Catalogue to our facebook challenge page! It's so much fun, and great for getting the creative juices going!!
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
