Favourite Florals for SUO Challenges

Hello and Welcome to another awesome challenge using Stampin' Up! only products!!

We are totally new and refreshed this week!  And to celebrate, we are sharing our Favourite Florals from our Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue!!!

So....... where do you start with such a fabulous challenge!! I mean, ALL the stamps are my favourite!!!

In the end, I decided to ink up one of my absolute favourites that has NOT seen much ink lately!!  It's the super cute Floral Sentiments!!

I went on a real journey of discovery with this stamp set!!! (As you do......)  I wanted to have a play with the fun of Brusho - so that was where I started.
I created 2 cards using both of the images from the stamp set for each colour technique as I explored.

I tried the Brusho in 2 ways - first I stamped in Basic Black and then attempted to (sort of) colour the images sprinkling Brusho in appropriate places.

The second Brusho attempt was using white embossing powder to make the image on watercolour paper, and then I used the Brusho to create a silhouette.

This wasn't really my favourite finished product (but I thought you would enjoy the weird workings of the creative process going on in my brain!!!)

Finally I just decided to stamp using Crumb Cake, and then colouring the images using markers - with Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie.

So, what do you think?  All of these cards are so so so different!!!  I've used the same colours, and similar embellishments on all of them, but WOW, I was blown away with the differences.

I think I'll need to play some more with Brusho, but there is certainly fun trying!!!

So, head to your craft space and get creative with your favourite floral Stampin' Up! stamp set from our Annual Catalogue!!  We love to have you join in the fun! Add your projects to the lineup at our blog.

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x
