Hello and Welcome to our Sunday Night Blog Hop and Challenge Caseing the Catty.
We are a design team who take our inspiration from the amazing projects featured in our Stampin' Up! Catalogues, and we Copy And Share Everything, or Copy And Selectively Edit. You are also welcome to join in the fun and add your projects to our facebook challenge page.
Our challenge this week focuses on the True Gentlemen Chapter of our Occasions Catalogue
- pages 44-51.
My card is CASED from the scrap page featured on page 49. There are actually so many fantastic projects in these few pages, that I found it hard to choose!
Eventually I decided this page would be a lovely place to start as the focus of an engagement card. I've used the floral detail and embellishment cluster for the base of my card, and substituted the initials of the recipients for the photo of the original project. My vellum shape is actually a heart, but it's a bit hard to tell in the photo!!
The greeting comes from the gorgeous set Floral Phrases. I don't really have any specific sets for Engagement (most are for wedding), but I thought this greeting was quite suitable.
The inside of the card received the same floral treatment - I coloured the gorgeous spray of leaves from Hold onto Hope using Smoky Slate and Marina Mist markers.
And the final detail is a coordinating envelope (made with the now retired Saleabration Springtime Foils DSP sigh... I love that paper!!)
I sincerely hope you've been inspired!! Now it's time to hop along to see Monique's awesome feminine version of this masculine theme!!
We'd love you to join in the fun on our challenge page! Add your photo to the lineup here.
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)
