Hello and Welcome to our first blog hop for 2018 for CASEing the Catty!!
It's great to be back!! We had a crazy busy Summer break with family and visitors so the peace and quiet at home with time to create is sooo wonderful!!
This time we are CASEing (Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit) from our NEW Occasions Catalogue - the first Suite - Picture Perfect Party pages 4-9.
And I have chosen to CASE the simple little card on the bottom left of the landing page featuring this gorgeous Suite.
I've CASED the same layout and colours and used Perennial Birthday for my stamping.
The card featured in the catalogue is quite simple, so I've stepped this design up a bit with a few extras......some feature ribbon - Bermuda Bay stitched satin ribbon or Lemon Lime Twist ombre ribbon;
some feature watercolouring with Brusho Crystal Colour
some feature flowers punched and raised on dimensionals in the bouquet;
...some feature the Tutti Fruiti Adhesive Backed Sequins.....
but all cards use Bermuda Bay, Lemon Lime Twist and Peekaboo Peach.
As I was preparing the extra flowers, I wondered whether there was much difference between fussy cutting them, or using the 3/4" punch.... what do you think?
Now it's time for you to hop along to see Monique's lovely project!!
And please add your projects to our facebook challenge page - you'll find the link here!!
Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
