Hearts A Plenty with SUO Challenges #193 featuring Floral Phrases and Delightful Daisy DSP

Hello and Welcome to another fabulous SUO Challenge.

Our theme this time is Hearts A Plenty.

As we head towards Valentines Day, this is a PERFECT Challenge!

This challenge was a perfect challenge for me this week, as I need to make and give an Engagement Card to some lovely family friends.

My card features hearts EVERYWHERE!!

The inside of the card features a pop up window with the heart cut out using the Sweet and Sassy layering hearts framelits.  More glimmery hearts and Night of Navy hearts embellish the edges.  The central heart is reversed and the greeting stamped onto the DSP in the centre of the card.

I've featured the lovely crinkled seam binding ribbon on the front of the card tied into a luscious bow anchored with another glimmery heart.

The glimmer and Delightful Daisy DSP continues onto the front and back of the coordinating envelope.

This is a fabulous challenge, I hope you join in the fun with us sharing your projects featuring
Hearts a Plenty!!  You can add your projects to our lineup on the blog using the link here.

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia   x

More Saleabration for CTC#163

Hello and Welcome to your awesome CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and Sunday Challenge.

We love to CASE (Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit) from our super inspirational Stampin' Up! catalogues.  Make sure you do keep hopping all around the team - there is so much talent and inspiration from the great bunch of gals on the CASEing the Catty design team.

And this week we are CASEing from our Saleabration Catalogue again.  This lovely little catalogue is current ONLY until the end of March, and it's packed full of GORGEOUS Saleabration goodies and fantastic projects featuring all the FREE rewards.

I have decided to CASE this lovely scrapping layout on page 10 which features the Sweet Soiree Memories and More Card Pack
- what an awesome FREEBIE - 72 double sided cards suitable for scrapping or cardmaking.

My layout has been modified somewhat to cater for the differing orientation of my photos, but it also shares many similarities to the one in the catalogue.

I've used another Saleabration product for all the stamping on my page - the cool set Epic Celebrations - you can see it on page 12.  This is a great set for young people.

The top and bottom of my page features some Flirty Flamingo washi tape (coordinating with the Flirty Flamingo colouring on the guitar and connies), which reflects the sweet stamping on the original page.

When I cut out the heart for the page title, I couldn't waste it, so I've added it as a feature underneath my journalling.

I love the clean crisp lines of this layout AND the white space really shows off these super fun images too.  This page turned out to be quick and easy, and I'm pretty happy with the end result!

Now it's time for you to continue hopping to see Sandra's Stunning Sample from the Salelabration catalogue.

And please join in the fun with us and add your CASE of any project from the Saleabration Catalogue - it's so good to be part of this awesome sharing community!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Stamping,

Loving the greens..... Colour INKspiration #26

Hello and Welcome to another sensational colour extravaganza for Colour INKspiration challenges.

No automatic alt text available.

The colours this time are:  Emerald Envy, Bermuda Bay, Tranquil Tide and Sahara Sand.
And I am a lover of greens, so this was fun and glorious!!

First of all I created a card - and used the extremely artistic Waterfront stamp set for a lake scene.
I've used the Sahara Sand for the mountains, Emerald Envy for the grassy ground, Tranquil Tide for the trees, and Bermuda Bay for the water, greeting and the base card.  The little piece of ribbon on the greeting is the lovely Emerald Envy Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

After completing the card, I thought these colours would work famously with a scrap page featuring photos from one of our many bushwalking forays.

The main cluster features elements from:  Bird Banter stamp set, Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers and Eastern Palace framelits, Hold onto Hope stamp set, Burlap ribbon, Burlap stamp set, the leaf punch and some Flourish thinlits for more Sahara Sand leaves.

I've added touches of gold to the maid colours which gives the finished page some more pizzazz!!

We love camping and bushwalking, so I always have lots of rainforest photos to scrap!!

I hope you've been inspired by these fresh and bright colours - do make sure you keep hopping around the whole team - the projects this time (as always) are just AMAZING!!!
Next on the hop is Tanya's awesome take on these colours.

And please join in the fun by adding your projects using these colours to our facebook challenge page!!

Until Next Time
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia  x
