Hello and Welcome to another Sunday Night Blog Hop CASEing the Catty - celebrating the awesomeness of our brilliant Stampin' Up! Catalogues and challenging you to have a go at CASEing too!!
This week, we are CASEing the Babies and Kids chapter of the Catalogue - which is a smaller chapter, but there is still some great inspiration!!
I've been inspired by the lovely Bookcase Builder card at the top of page 105.
And the very nature of this stamp set is that it can be used for almost ANY occasion - not just for Babies and Kids!! The card featured in the catalogue is a Thank you Card and it features the cuteness of the lovely little teddy bear.
I've still created a Thank you card (and this is one of our class cards for tomorrow nights Thank You Cards class), but my theme is more adult and sedate!! I've used fairly similar colours and tones with Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder and a splash of Lemon Lime Twist for my self contents.
The shelves are stamped using Crumb Cake which is the same as my base card. The greeting has been highlighted with the Early Espresso marker (there are more words on the stamp and I only wanted the Thank you). My final touch was some Fine Tip Glue pen to make the plant pots and photo frame a bit shiny and a little flag of ribbon on the top left hand of the panel.
Now it's your turn to be challenged - show us your best creation from the inspirational Babies & Kids chapter of our Annual Stampin' Up! catalogue. You can add your photo to our facebook challenge page.
Up next is the awesome Alisa and her lovely floral creation. Keep hopping all the way through and be inspired over and over again with amazing projects from the Design Team ALL inspired by the Babies and Kids chapter of our catalogue.
Until Next time,
Happy Stamping,
Love Julia x
