Welcome to the wonderful inspiration from CASEing the Catty.
This week we are Copying And Sharing Everything from the Falling In Love Chapter - pages 50 - 54.
I've been inspired by the lovely swan card on the top of page 53 - and used Beautiful You for my art piece. The layout is the same, and I've used the Succulent Garden DSP.
Doesn't the dress of the 'dancing lady' look sooo gorgeous with the printed DSP from Succulent Garden? This is a great technique to add some loveliness to your image - you stamp the image onto the printed paper, cut it out closely to the edge, and then simply adhere it over the top of your stamped image - voila - pretty dress on the lady!!
And as I was happily creating, I decided it was time I created a masculine card!!
This card has been inspired by that little gift envelope on the bottom left of the photo on page 54.
I've converted it into an easel card and added the greeting onto the Badges and Banners stamped shield - which was then punched out using the Best Badge punch. I've also stamped an extra Early Espresso badge, cut it in half and then popped it a little above and below the stamped badge to give a little interest and to help it stand out.
I love the hexagon embossed silver foil - what an awesome look!!
I hope you check out all the rest of the CASEing the Catty team - there are always wonderful and inspirational projects from the whole team. You can find the complete list of the team by going to our blog - click on this link to get you there.
And when you create your project inspired by the Falling in Love chapter, join in the fun by adding your project to our challenge facebook page - we'd love to see you there!!!
Until next week,
Happy Stamping!
Julia
