Look again at those hostess sets with CTC#106

Have you looked at our Hostess Sets lately?  Sometime we get so caught up on all the fabulous NEW things, we forget to look as those little treasures hidden in the hostess pages - and they really are very special!  This week we are using these little wonders to inspire our creative challenge to CASE the Catty (Copy and Share Everything).

And, as I'm totally looking at Christmas at the moment, I chose this great little card as my springboard.  This set on page 201 of our Annual Catalogue has some gorgeous greetings for Birthday, Christmas, and any time really!  It's called appropriately Time of Year.

I've cased the card layout very closely, but changed to my (current) favourite colours of Bermuda Bay, with a touch of Island Indigo and white/silver highlights.

See that lovely spotty background there?  Did you wonder where I found this paper?  It's the 'oh so versatile' Irresistibly Floral Specialty DSP in the dotty design and sponged with Bermuda Bay to the intensity of colour that I was looking for.

And isn't that gorgeous big greeting and font so lovely!  It  really does make this card SAY SOMETHING!!  And what else do I love about my card?  I really love the extra bling of the silver sequin trim, the little bermuda sequins shining on the holly berries, and that little corner detail on the central panel - such a simple idea, yet it looks so cool!! (and easy peasy to do with the little 1/2" circle punch on each corner)  Thank you Stampin' Up! again for your awesome inspiration in our Catalogue!!!

Now it's time for you to continue your fun Sunday night blog hop and see the fantabulous and amazing creations brought to YOU from the rest of the design team.  Make sure you hop all the way around and totally feel free to comment and join in the fun too!!  We love the conversations we have with you AND we love seeing all your creative projects too.  We are thrilled to inspire you and share with you our love of Stamping AND our great Stampin' Up! catalogues!

Another Sneak Peek in the Fancy Frost Chapter for CTC#105

Hello and Welcome Again to our Sunday night Blog Hop!!
This week, we are CASEing projects from the Fancy Frost Chapter of our Holiday Catalogue,
and I've used this cute little project on page 42 featuring Glamper Greetings as my inspiration!!

I got to use a NEW stamp from our upcoming Sale-a-bration offering to give you a fantastic sneak peek!!

Most of the cards is pretty similar to the original - and I've used the Tasty Trucks stamp set instead of that awesome caravan.  It's a bit tricky to see in the photo but I used some of the fine tip glue pen on the tyres, cupcakes and awning so they have some texture and are really glossing in real life!!

Now it's time for you to continue on the hop and see the rest of our amazing design team and their projects for this week!!

And please feel free to join in our fun challenge this month by adding your projects as this link.

CTC#104 Stampin' Up Inspiration from Petals & Paisley

Hello and Welcome along to our Sunday Night Blog Hop where we CASE the Catty and you get to hop through the entire design team for inspiration and creativity.

This week, we are featuring the lovely Petals and Paisley Suite from our Holiday Catalogue, and I have CASED (Copy and Selectively Edited) this project from page 46.

I've kept the same layout, and changed some of the colours and stamps.  I've used the lovely Irresiistibly Floral Specialty Designer Paper and sponged over the top with Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay using our lovely sponge brayer.

The stamped greetings and the framelit edging are a little sneak peek from our upcoming Occasions Catalogue - from the Falling in Love Suite.  One of the wonderful benefits of being a demonstrator is going along to our Onstage training event and then getting to see and use products before everyone else!!  I'm so grateful my friend Naomi encouraged me to join Stampin' Up! 10 years ago!!

Now it's time for you to continue your hop through the whole design team.  I really love seeing the wonderful projects and ideas that our whole team shares!!

And when you've been through everyone, make sure you join the fun and add your project into our monthly challenge using the link below.

If you get lost along the way, head on over to our blog and you'll see links to all the projects from the whole design team.

Thank you for visiting, and we hope to see you again next Sunday evening for some more great inspiration!!

It's all about the giving to each other.

Stampin' Up! demonstrators are a creative lot!!  But you already know that!
They are also a very giving and sharing breed too.

When we go away for a Stampin' Up! event, one of the gorgeous traditions is to create 'pillow gifts' for our roomies.  I stayed with 4 other delightful ladies who are very dear friends, and these are my gifts I gave to them.

I used all of my favourite images from the Serene Scenery paper stack and make bookmarks,
and also create a 'book-like' gift box full or yummy choccies.

You'll have to visit again another day when I show you all the gorgeous gifts I received in return!!

My swaps for Onstage Brisbane #Onstage2016

One of the most wonderful parts of any Stampin' Up! event is 'swapping' cards, ideas, and getting to know other demonstrators.  I'm part of a couple of different groups, so I was able to participate in 3 different swaps!!  This Father Christmas Card is actually an ATC trading size card - 3" x 4".  You'll have to visit again another day to see all 30 of the ATC swaps that I collected - they look fabulous!!

This Touches of Texture card is the swap I used to get to know new people at OnStage.  I tried to swap with some people who were experiencing a Stampin' Up! event for the first time - there are just so many lovely lovely people who all love to create and share their inspirational ideas!!

And my final swap is the one I made for the CASEing the Catty blog hop team (CTC) and we swapped full cards featuring products from the current Holiday Catalogue.  I chose to feature Star of Light in Non-traditional Christmas Colours.
