Punch fun with SUO Stampin' Up! Only Challenges

This week on SUO we are celebrating our amazing punches and having lots of punch fun too!!

I'm on the team at SUO!

I've used my favourite flower punches to create a floral headband for my daughter using our new Cotton Paper and Glassine Sheets for the flowers.  Both these papers are sturdy and yet light and able to be shaped.

I used Flower Patch stamp set to stamp in the centre of the flowers using Tangelo Twist, and Crushed Curry on the white for some extra detail and dimension for them.  The leaves were punched with the bird builder punch using the Cucumber Crush cotton paper.

In the very centre of each flower is one of our new delicious Iced Rhinestone Embellishments.

My lovely youngest daughter was a wonderful model for my floral headband.

And hopefully you will be so inspired you will have a go too and enter our challenge!!

Home for Christmas for CASEing the Catty

Welcome to our SUNDAY night Blog Hop!!  We hope you love our new day and you can relax and hop around to see all the amazing projects we have to share with you and inspire you!!  We love to CASE the Catty - which means to Copy And Share Everything and we hope you will have fun CASEing our Catty too!!

You can click on the Blog Graphic for the full list of all the team members or you can hop along through all the projects by clicking on the next arrow at the end of every blog.

This week we are Inspiring you from the Home for Christmas chapter of our Holiday Catalogue - pages 8 - 21, and I have been playing with the Hearth & Home Thinlits dies and the coordinating stamps sets - Happy Scenes and Festive Fireplace.

I LOVE the image on the bottom of page 11 and this was the start of my card - which then evolved into a Christmas wreath on a door.   Behind the window is some Sahara Sand lace ribbon, the tree fussy cut from our oh-so-divine Home for Christmas DSP, and some snowy decorations stamped in White Craft ink onto the sponged vellum.
I also cut the top and bottom of the window frame off so that my window was a basic door window.

And now it's time for you to hop on over to see Stasia's great Home for Christmas project, and be inspired anew!!

And if you get lost, just head on back to the CASEing the CATTY blog for the full list of all the design team members.

Tardis for a friend

My daughter and I had a ton of fun creating this Tardis for a birthday gift for her friend.

We did a lot of sponging and cutting shapes to put this together.

But we were so happy with the final result!!

Something to Say Cutie

In my adventures making baby cards recently, this is my favourite - probably because I really love this pompom trim!!!  I think it's the perfect addition for a baby card!  My greeting comes from Something to Say, and the background images are from Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set.
I really love the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch on the corners of the tag too. It looks great with the corrugated card in the background.

And because I really love how the card has turned out, I've created the same layout with a different greeting and colours.

This time I've used the Thank you from the same stamp set.

At The Global Design Project, the challenge this week is for baby cards!  So this is my little contribution for this week!

All Ye Faithful CASE

I LOVE this card from our new Holiday Catalogue - so I've made my own.......  Thank you Stampin' Up! for the wonderful inspiration!!

Home for Christmas and Oh, What Fun

I am totally LOVING the Home for Christmas DSP - and this oh so gorgeous poinsettia is fussy cut from one of the divine papers - every single sheet of paper is beautiful!!  The layout for this card is CASED from the card illustrated on page 31 of our Holiday Catalogue, and I've swapped in the DSP for the stamped flower, and I've used some yummy red glimmer paper instead of washi tape as the feature element at the base of the design.  My background comes form You've Got This from the annual catalogue instead of the splatters in the catalogue card.

So what do you think?  I really love my final card!! AND, that little piece of glimmer paper allows me to enter this lovely card into the challenge this week at Just Add Ink to Just Add Glimmer, and if you hop along to their website you'll see some gorgeous cards and ideas!!!

English Garden wedding card

Isn't this the most beautiful paper??  I've used the lovely greeting from Petite Pairs and silver embossed it to give the card some elegance.
I couldn't decide on the background colour - white or soft sky - what do you think?

I'm still making those baby cards!!  This time I've made a onesie - an old favourite for punch artists!!

Cottage Garden has helped me to decorate this little outfit, and then I've used our new white Perfect Accents for the buttons!!

Holiday DSP for CASEing the Catty - totally gorgeous!

This week at CASEING the CATTY  we are celebrating the gorgeous Holiday DSP featured in our Holiday Catalogue.  There are some totally beautiful papers in all of the product suites, and I can guarantee you'll LOVE all the projects the Design Team have put together for your inspiration.

CASE means to Copy And Share Everything, and that's what we like to do - we are inspired by our amazing catalogue and we like to share our projects to inspire YOU!

So make sure you hop all the way along the blog hop to see the amazing projects from EVERYONE!!

I've been inspired by the Home for Christmas DSP on pages 8 and 9.  In fact all the amazing projects on page 8 motivated me to purchase this wonderful paper!!  I love all the images and the colours are beautiful!!  I've CASED the project on the right of the top image.  The original is actually a gift bag which I've adapted into a card.

I've used a greeting from Oh. What Fun, and I've swapped in some silver satin ribbon rather than the vanilla striped, but apart from these differences, the card is the same, and I LOVE it!!

Now it's time for you to hop on over to see the lovely project from Rachel and to be inspired again!!

And if you get totally lost, just click on the blog icon for the full list of all the blog posts!! You'll love them all!!

Craft Boots Challenges are having fun with Monochromatic colour schemes this week!!

Crafty Boots Challenges

And this is my little contribution!!  This is another of my cards in my adventures in Baby Cards!!
I LOVE the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch though, and I think it really makes this card look wonderful!!

Festive Fireplace Colours Challenge for Paper Players

Check out the great colour challenge at The Paper Players this week!! If you click on the graphic you'll go their site and see all the amazing projects from the design team!!

I've used the window box from Festive Fireplace, as well as the foliage spray stamped in So Saffron.
Then I add a whole lot of punched itty bitty flowers to my window box - coloured with gold glitter and candy dots.

The greeting comes from Happy Birthday, Everyone.

All Ye Faithful for #GDP002

This week for the Global Design Project,  there is a lovely sketch!!
Make sure you click on the graphic to go and see all the gorgeous projects from the design team members - you'll be totally inspired!!

I've continued my adventures with Christmas cards and my love of watercolouring for my card.

I've also swapped the design around a bit - with the wooden snowflake element at the top instead of the bottom of the circle.

Don't you just LOVE the luminescence of the wonderful watercoloured Stampin' Up! colours against all these neutral details!!  I've used Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon for my kings, and their gifts and crowns are coloured with some gold extra fine glitter mixed with some Tombow glue.
