You've Got This Sketch Challenge

This week at Freshly Made Sketches there is a very simple sketch challenge.  Just click on the image to see the gorgeous projects from the design team members for some great inspiration!!

I've rotated the sketch and then used the image in a vertical orientation.

My focal point is the gorgeous flower from you've got this.  I watercoloured the flower head on some watercolour paper, fussy cut and then popped it up on the flower in the central panel.

I saturated my watercolour paper so that the colours would move and bleed a little to give it a really intense watercolour finish.  The central stamens have been tipped with some white gel pen to highlight them.

  3. Absolutely beautiful Julia! Your water colouring is spot-on and something I need to practice myself - it's so on trend right now. Love that you flipped the sketch as it works so well for your flower. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!
