The challenge this week at Just Add Ink is a colour challenge - CLICK HERE to see the amazing work of the design team!! The colours are: Crushed Curry, Bemuda Bay and Basic Black - and this is my entry.
I've also CASED the Catty on page 149 so this is also my entry for the challenge at CASEing the Catty for the chapter on THANKS. Click HERE to see some more amazing work from that design team!!
I've used Thoughts and Prayers, and Memorable Moments stamp sets. The crushed curry in the background was created by stamping directly onto my cardstock with the inkpad - cool hey!!
Great use of Stampin' Up! colours and products, Julia. I love the crisp black sentiment against the 'inkpad impression'. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week!
ReplyDeleteThe background is very cool Julia. It adds all the detail you need to offset the simple flowering branch and sentiment. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteI really like the washi tape on top of the ribbon and the little staple holding the ribbon in place. Lovely card, thanks for joining in again at CTC
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun way to use the ink. I would never have thought of it. And it made me go look at the catty. Love to see other case the catty - cause I do that too. Chantell JAI
