Convention Diary - Day 2

Before I add any photos from Day 2 - here are a couple from the Leadership Day on Wednesday - I'm here with a group of Queensland Demonstrators, and also on the stairs in the Myer Mural Hall - I'm up the stairs on the left side in a white jacket.

More handmade cards for a gift

Here is another little gift bag of gorgeous cards!

Once again I have used the Watercolour wonder cards and envelopes as my base for the cards.

This time the cards are far simpler, and very elegant.

  

I have gold embossed greetings from the perfectly penned stamp set, 

and tied some gold bakers twine around the spine of the card to finish it.

I think these are just lovely!!

Quick and Easy Gifts

You know I love cardmaking - and I love it because it comes from my heart to you - it's personal and meaningful for me - and hopefully for the recipients too!!

This has been a great little gift idea I have used - a gift bag with some quick and easy cards inside, complete with envelopes, and hopefully with lots of occasions they can been used.

This little gift bag uses - the Watercolour Wonder cards and envelopes from the Occasions Catalogue.

They are beautifully printed, and easy to decorate.

I have then used the Tag-a-bag accessory kit for the labels, and the bakers twine.

The greetings all come from Perfect Pennants stamp set - as does the stamping on the coordinating envelopes.

More Watercolouring

I have always loved watercolouring (I know you know that already!) and so I'm so happy there are lots of great stamps to colour at the moment!!  I don't think I'm really very skilled at watercolouring but I so LOVE the feeling of being an artist when it turns out well!! 

This week, at Just Add Ink, the challenge is a colour challenge so - that was my starting point for my card - the colours are 

The next step for my card was the layout - and I was inspired by the challenge atCard Making Challenges with A Christy Production and the layout is 

So, in the end, all I had to do was some watercolouring - which I LOVE!!  

Stamps used were: Postcard, Peaceful Petals and Label Love.
