Day 16 already!

This is a very pretty page - we were all dressed up for a 100th birthday party so that inspired me to bring out a (now expired) kit that I just LOVE - the Artisan Embellishment Kit - such gorgeous laces, buttons and flowers.

I also stamped with the Viola's lace wheel for some extra yummy lace!!

The background page comes from our current DSP range - Etcetera - and these sewing notions are just so yummy!

Love the flowers!

15 days of scrapbooking

Here's something new and different!! I used two of the banners from the Build a Banner Kit - they are large canvas flags and are great to stamp on - and my page was nearly finished just with them!!

The other flags come from the Tag a Bag accessories kit - using lots of quick elements for this page....

and there is another doily!!

Day 14.... and still going!!

Fun with chevrons!!   Love the colours on this page - pool party, strawberry slush, white and a little pacific point!

The paper doilies make such a great accent - you will see plenty in my pages!!

I've stamped a border around my page using Whisper White craft ink - very subtle, but I do really like it.

Day 13 scrapbooking

I experimented with the Chalk Writer Marker on this page - a free hand circle in the top corner - what do you think?

Washi tape again - fun and quick!!  Gotta love that.

More Scrapbooking - Day 12

Still catching up with my Marathon of pages for the Christmas Gift -

I used Epic Day This and That DSP, The Open Sea Stamp set (background images) and Sweater Weather DSP for the large circle.

A few pieces of Epic Day and Gingham Garden Washi Tape combined with ribbon,

And some lovely white and crumb cake cardstock.  I've used the (now retired) timeless type font in the big shot for the title.

Mini Scrapbooking Gift

I wanted to make a quick gift to give some photos to some friends..... instead of just giving the photos in an envelope, I have made a little gift pouch and decorated the photos a little.

The pouch comes from the Thankful Tablescape Kit from the Holiday Catalogue.  This is actually the menu holder, but I folded down the top flap to create a pocket to pop in the photos.

The embellishments for the photos is just some ribbon and buttons tied with linen thread, along with the date stamped with the Rotary Date Stamp onto a label punched using the modern label punch.

I've also used a teeny tiny peg from the Tag-a-Bag accessory kit

The photos are mounted onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock which coordinates perfectly with the tablescape DSP for the gift pouch.

I'm a big fan of buttons, and they make the embellishment of  "guy" gifts so much easier. (Girl gifts have so much more choice in floral decorations I think)

This date stamp is so useful!!

Scrapbooking - Day 11

Total change of pace from yesterday!! This page used LOTS of bright colours (so NOT my comfort zone!!!)  BUT, gee it looks fun and happy!!

Lots of lovely flags using the Pennant Builder punch, and some Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie and Gumball Green.

I've used some of the arrows from the Framelits for the flip card.  Stamps are from Bring on the Cake, Itty Bitty Banners and Memorable Moments for the numbers.

Love the stars banner too!!

Day 10 Scrapbooking

It's amazing how colours can create a mood!!  I love the quiet nature of this page (and I really do love to use Soft Suede) and the Crisp Cantaloupe gives is a very feminine feel.  I have used the Venetian Romance DSP in the background, and stamped with Hello Lovely.

To create my lines in the journalling panel I sponged some stripes using one of the stencils from the build a banner kit from our Holiday Catalogue which finishes at the end of January.

My flowers are created using the coordinating punch and stamp set - Flower Shop - and the centres are the lovely vintage faceted buttons.

A bit of Victorian lace ribbon and a few pearls scattered around, and my page is complete.

Day 9 scrapbooking

I have such wonderful memories of this holiday!!  For this page I've used the Epic Day This and That Suite of DSP, washi tape and the Rotary Date Stamp - love that stamp and use it LOTS!!

The stamp sets I've used are Gorgeous Grunge and Notable Notions - really great stamps to add just that little something.....

I've also had fun with the candy dots, AND the Tag a Bag accessory kit which has the mini clothes pegs, and the the tags and bakers twine - great little accessories for a page.

Day 8 - scrapbooking

Want to see another sneak peek for Sale-a-bration?  I'm using that lovely set Banner Blast again and THIS time I'm using the lovely little flower, heart and star images from the stamp set to create my waterfall of gelato coloured confetti!

I ALSO have another little sneak peek........ the bakers twine on the side is another Sale-a-bration FREE product, and it is in a kit with this divine cork flower which is self adhesive - totally GORGEOUS!!

Day 7 - scrapbooking

Love splattering paint?  It brings back some great childhood FUN memories doesn't it?  I have used a wash of ink at the top of my page and then..... puts lots of splatter on my page BUT I have the advantage of using Gorgeous Grunge stamp set which gives me the control over my splatter!!!  Gotta love it!

My colours are Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Perfect Plum on the Very Vanilla background, and goodness these colours together are so fresh and yummy!!!

Day 6 - Scrapbooking

This page is a tribute to Washi Tape, and Glimmer Paper - and uses the same layout from the canvas in the post from a couple of days ago when I started the Scrapbooking Marathon!!

It is lots of strips of lovely Washi Tape,  some yummy Winter Frost paper, silver glimmer paper and some silver foil (which has photographed looking white).

Day 5 - scrapbooking

I love how this frame turned out!!  With the core-dinations cardstock and the woodgrain embossing folder, it was super easy too!!

I have used a couple of stamp sets - Chalk Talk, Creative Elements, Lovely Little Labels, AND I have a sneak peek of a new Sale-a-bration stamp set - Banner Blast - oooh it's got these gorgeous little banners that are soooo cute!!

You can see the 'love' banner here, and then some of the patterned banners at the bottom!!
